Den kan f. eks. bruges funktionelt; til at spnde en konstruktion fast, eller arkitektonisk; til udstillingsforml. Derudover kan man bruge dem til at spnde en mast fast i skaldte stage, for at stabilisere masten, og dermed bden. Terminaler valses fast om stl wiren, dvs. at man ved hjlp af et vrktj
