Description
A different aromatic profile presents notes of petrol
Coming in at more than 70% Cabernet Franc—and aged in 50% new French oak—the 2019 Cerro Sur Red Wine is vaguely herbal
Between the reduction and the gas this firmly structured effort is very hard to read and while it may come together that is not a certainty
with excellent clarity to its pear and orange flavors
fleshy core of fruit and a delicately toasty finish complemented with gastronomic bitterness
Thierry Pillot, Puligny Montrachet Enseigneres other_regions_italy A different aromatic profile presents(sold under the Thierry Pillot label). There is just enough reduction present to make the nose difficult to assess but the underlying fruit does appear to be fully ripe. There is good volume to the pleasingly textured medium bodied flavors that possess a generous mouth feel as well as reasonably good definition on the complex, well balanced, dry and focused finish. This offers excellent quality for its level and is worth a look. (89 91) 2017+
