Flavorful and persistent

Domaine Bellene, Vosne Romanee Suchots Vintage:2016 Now that the wines haveAs with the Quartiers de Nuits, there is a very subtle hint of volatile acidity that adds lift to the mildly woody but exuberantly spicy dark berry fruit nose. There is good weight and punch to the velvety and round medium weight flavors that possess excellent intensity on the firm and somewhat disjointed finish. Though awkward today, this appears to have excellent underlying material and thus my score offers the benefit of the doubt. (89 92) 2022+
