blue and violet aromas that are followed by wonderfully intense

don't hesitate to crack one of these open

Chardonnay seems to play the leading role in 2004

Francois Carillon, Puligny Montrachet Vintage:2018 Interestingly this is much more(from 8 different lieux dits that total a whopping 5 ha). There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of passion fruit present on the acacia blossom and citrus peel inflected nose. There is again very good volume as well as a relatively sophisticated mouthfeel to the middle weight flavors where the seductive and lingering finish is supported by a moderately firm acid spine. This is an excellent Puligny villages and recommended.
