layered mid-palate and building structure and tannic grip
the 1er portion accounts for about 2/3 of the cuvée)
all wrapped in a sneaky long finish where the only nit is a hint of warmth
acacia blossom and plenty of citrus character
A blend of equal parts of Sangiovese and Merlot (in a heavy glass bottle)
Weinbach, Pinot Gris Altenbourg SGN other_regions_australia layered mid-palate and building structure(for 375 ml.; 9. 9% alcohol, 161 g l r. s. and 10 grams of acidity) Deep yellow gold. Carnal, exotic aromas of orange blossom, game, smoke and earth. Superripe, thick and powerful, but given great penetration by almost painful acidity. Wonderfully dense and concentrated wine with a tactile, salty finish that refuses to let up. Like the '07 Riesling SGN, this is just hinting at the complexity to come. Stephen Tanzer
