Worth considering

Mugneret Gibourg, Vosne-Romanee La Colombiere other_regions_italy green fruit and mineral reduction-suffused(from a . 86 ha parcel of ~80 year old vines). Here the wonderfully fresh and pure nose of plum and black raspberry displays plenty of spice nuances, in particular star anise and sandalwood, along with a hint of crushed fennel. The medium bodied flavors are not quite as concentrated as those of the straight Vosne villages, though they are notably finer on the lingering, balanced and energetic finale.
