Description
it's a rich
lively texture and enough fine tannin to keep it drinking nicely for another decade
while licorice snap
rich and enveloping medium-bodied flavors still manage to be nicely precise while delivering solid if not exceptional depth and persistence on the bitter pit fruit-inflected finish
This could use better depth but it’s already very pretty and is worth considering for its level
Michel Bouzereau, Puligny Montrachet Champ Gain Vintage:2021 it's a rich(from a . 40 ha parcel that abuts Truffire). Like the Tessons, this is aromatically quite cool with restrained aromas of mostly floral and citrus along with background hints of green apple. The sleek, intense and more obviously mineral driven medium weight flavors possess fine balance on the very dry finale. This will need to develop better depth to merit the upper end of my projected range.
