Description
This could use better depth but the underlying material is clearly present for that to occur in time
Darker and bluer than most – mid crimson
Tasting the Zind-Humbrecht collections armed with what one knows of these vintages from most other establishments
There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the mineral-inflected
as well as the density to the fruit
Morey Coffinet, Chassagne Montrachet Clos Saint Jean Rouge other_regions This could use better depth(from vines planted in 1979). Much better than the Morgeot. Lots of cherry and pinot sap, good intensity, better structure plus a real sense of flavor precision and better detail on the finish. This too will drink well early and shows excellent finesse for Chassagne. Only a lack of density prevents this from scoring higher.
