Arlaud, Clos Saint Denis Vintage:2017 The 2010 was aged in(from a . 17 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines located in Clos St. Denis proper). A perfumed and dazzlingly elegant nose displays aromas of essence of red pinot fruit with plenty of spice and floral elements in evidence. This too possesses a caressing mouth feel as there is an abundance of dry extract that buffers the moderately firm tannins on the dusty and superbly persistent finale. This is notably finer than the Charmes but not more complex. (92 95)
