A very fresh but tight and reserved nose of highly spiced and nuanced red and blue pinot fruit that precedes big-bodied flavors that are classic Richebourg as they’re cool

This is a big wine where the abundant dry extract presently largely hides the firm core of supporting tannins but make no mistake

this is clearly very classy and textured if tight juice that will require 7 to 10 years to be at its best

Here too there is excellent energy to the precise, muscular and stony large scaled flavors that brim with dry extract on the firmly structured and compact finale. This built to age effort is decidedly muscular but not massive and a wine that should also amply repay extended cellaring.
