This is certainly good but 2017 is not a great vintage for this wine

Oak is a touch more evident than in most years because the fruit is not at full ripeness

and therefore

Drouhin Laroze, Bonnes Mares Vintage:2013 though as usual(almost entirely from a 1. 5 ha parcel in terres rouges). A brooding and backward nose is presently revealing little save for glimpses of red and blue berry fruit aromas though the rich, full and sleekly muscled flavors are sappy, intense and powerful, all wrapped in a classy and very pure finish of exceptional length. Despite the reserve, this is impressively constructed and built to age. Terrific and worth a close look. (92 95) 2017+
