A George II Giltwood Mirror New Stock circa 1810An outstanding 18th century giltwood mirror. The broken scrolling pediment centred by a large cartouche with foliate swan neck, scallop shell to the apron flanked by brass candle sconces, the original bevelled plate is remarkable, the mercury plate almost completley "Blued". Wonderful scale, untouched, rare to find in this condition. English, circa 1730 40. Height 4ft (123cm). Width 26in (66cm).
