The 1. 5Ha 'Home Block' vineyard was established in 2001 on an east north east block. Owner Mark McNamara is the viticulturist and winemaker. 'Sans Souci' is a part of a trio of wines from the Merriworth Pinot range. As its name suggests, it is made as a fresh and juicy, indeed carefree, style with 50% whole bunch and minimal oak influence. Some nice spicy char with smacks of
