Impressive as hell but don’t buy it if you don’t have the discipline to wait as it would be a waste to open this too young

with good varietal character and impeccable balance

more so than the more linear and focused 2016 Brunello Pianrosso (that I preferred by a tiny margin)

A mildly fruity nose is cut with plenty of freshly turned earth and more discreet floral wisps.
