Domaine la Clef du Récit Menetou-Salon, 2024 Santa Cruz Mountains with plenty of character andWhite grapefruit, white flowers, lime, summer peach on nose. Palate is lifted lime, mandarin, lilies, green apple with flinty minerality. Menetou Salon is in the central Loire Valley; Most wines are not exported from here (only 15% leave the country) so it's a treat to experience this appellation stateside. Often compared to its neighboring appellation of Sancerre, these wines tend to be a better value yet with their own intriguing qualities and truly
