Jules Desjourneys, Styx Size:6x750ml Count me as a fanBlended from various vineyards such as Burdelines, Grandes Charrires, Maisons Neuves and Vrillats. The name is a reference to the hellish aspects of the hail years. Deep magenta crimson. A very complex nose with an exceptional franchise. Starts well but then swells on the second half of the palate. A certain sweetness to it, a sort of beneficial sucrosity, with cherries behind. Drink from 2025 2030. Tasted Feb 2024.
