Traxxas 7465T Shaft GTR XX-Long TiN-Coated Paint / Glue Designed for the Traxxas SlashGTR xx long shock shafts with a titanium nitride coating. Two per package. The TiN coating is what keeps a shock sealing over time. A bare steel shaft picks up microscopic scoring from grit dragged past the seal, and once scored it chews through x rings and starts weeping oil which is usually why a shock that was rebuilt recently still feels soft. TiN is far harder than the steel underneath and resists that damage. Worth replacing shafts rather than
