This is evolving glacially and certainly much slower than I originally foresaw but it should be a stunner of a Clos de Vougeot when it finally reaches its peak

all wrapped in a balanced and almost delicate finish

This is a beautifully refined effort that is very Puligny in style

Domaine Dujac, Echezeaux Size:6x750ml as the 2013 really needs(from the climat Champs Traversin). An unusually high toned nose of red berry fruit, earth and an intriguing mix of spice elements that include clove, anise plus a note of hoisin complements well the rich, full bodied and velvety flavors that also have an inherent exoticism, all wrapped in a mouth coating, pure and focused finish that delivers both excellent length as well as a seductive mouth feel. I particularly like the underlying sense of tension.
