As one might gather from her surname, she is a third generation Arvidson. All of Mia's patterns are hand painted on sketches before they are prepared for printing. This is a craft they are very proud of and one that few can perform today. Mia's inspiration often comes from nature in the local area. The Bjrkdungen (Birch Grove) design is probably Mia's most famous design featuring birches.
